TNR Gold Corp (TSX-V:TNR, FRA:TNW, OTC:TRRXF) said its management team continues to increase personal ownership in the company, alongside a recent stake increase from strategic partner Altius Minerals Corporation (TSX:ALS, OTCQX:ATUSF).
Executive chairman Kirill Klip said he added 4.2 million shares this year, bringing his total holding to nearly 31.4 million shares. Klip also noted the company's chair of the audit committee, CFO and vice president of corporate development have also increased their ownership positions.
"I have continued to increase my share ownership in TNR Gold," Klip told shareholders. "My current holding of 31,363,000 shares reflects my ongoing commitment to the company and confidence in its strategic direction."
Klip also referenced Altius's July 17, 2026 acquisition of nearly 7.44 million TNR Gold shares at C$0.23 per share, which brought Altius's aggregate ownership position to around 30.9 million shares.
"Altius's increased stake reflects their continued strategic interest in TNR Gold's management team, its strategic plan and TNR Gold's royalty portfolio," Klip said. "We welcome Altius increasing its strategic, non-controlling stake in TNR Gold."
Separately, TNR Gold said it has received notice from a shareholder of intent to nominate four individuals for election to the company's board of directors at its Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders in September.
TNR Gold and its board are reviewing the notice with their advisors and will provide material updates when appropriate.
Shares of TNR Gold added over 9% on Tuesday morning.
