ARK Invest buys Nvidia, Broadcom stock dips, sells Deere

ARK Invest picked up shares of Nvidia and Broadcom on Monday as both chipmakers retreated, while offloading roughly $36.8 million in Deere stock — the day's biggest individual transaction — per the firm's daily fund disclosures.

ARK founder and CEO Cathie Wood purchased 122,422 Nvidia shares worth about $26.6 million across five of the firm's exchange-traded funds. Nvidia stock fell 2.86% on Monday following reports that the chipmaker is working with a group of major financial firms — including Apollo Global, Blackstone, BlackRock, Brookfield Asset Management, Goldman Sachs, and KKR — to arrange more than $500 billion in financing for AI infrastructure projects, according to TipRanks. Investors responded with unease over the potential for circular financing and the broader financial exposure that could come with Nvidia taking on a more central role in bankrolling AI buildout.

ARK's Broadcom position grew by 39,020 shares, a purchase valued at approximately $16.5 million. Broadcom stock slipped 1.25% on Monday as part of a broader market decline. The stock has gained 22.5% year-to-date.

On the sell side, ARK disposed of 60,458 Deere shares at approximately $36.8 million, extending a pattern of trimming its stake in the agricultural equipment company that has included a string of smaller sales over the past several weeks.

Elsewhere in Monday's activity, ARK added 58,142 shares of Cloudflare at around $18.1 million and picked up 25,790 shares of Teradyne for roughly $9.4 million. The firm also sold $7 million worth of Shopify stock and $5.2 million in Snowflake stock.

Wall Street's consensus lands at Strong Buy for both Nvidia and Broadcom, with analysts pointing to each company's AI-powered growth trajectory as the key driver of that bullish view. Deere carries a Moderate Buy consensus rating. Nvidia chips are used in 92% of sovereign large language models across more than 80 countries, according to data from Counterpoint Research.
