Strategic Minerals PLC (AIM:SML) subsidiary Cornwall Resources has kicked off what could be the biggest continuous diamond drilling programme in Cornwall this century. Three rigs are now on site at its Redmoor tungsten-tin-copper project, with the 22,500-metre programme wrapping up in 2027.
London BTC Company Ltd (LSE:BTC, OTCQB:VINZF) has hit its best gold grade yet in the US - 143.1 grams per tonne at its Amonett-Frank project in Nevada. The site sits close to Kinross's Goldbanks deposit and the Barrick-Newmont joint venture in the same district.
1947 Oil & Gas is joining AIM this month, raising £50 million to buy a Houston producer with eleven shallow-water fields in the Gulf of Mexico. The board's led by Talos Energy founder Tim Duncan, and shares will trade under the ticker 1947.
Rainbow Rare Earths Ltd (LSE:RBW, OTC:RBWRF, FRA:RR1) has brought in former Anglo American executive James Beams as an executive director to lead offtake deals and project finance. It's part of a push to move both its rare earth projects from feasibility into actual construction.
