Creatio commits $300m to scale financial AI

Workflow platform Creatio will invest $300m into its Bank.AI between 2026 and 2028, outlining a multi-year spending plan for its banking and financial services product.

The company's financial services business expanded 48% year on year.

The new funding plan is intended to support further AI product development, alongside broader deployment support and partner capacity for use by financial institutions.

Creatio said it works with a range of financial sector organisations, including Nasdaq, First National Bank of Pennsylvania, Metro Bank, MetLife, CEC Bank, OTP Bank, National Bank of Panama and ESL Credit Union.

The company said spending through 2028 will focus on several areas.

One area is further development of the Creatio Bank.AI platform, which brings together the company's AI platform, AI CRM and pre-built banking agents.

The platform is used across three banking areas: growth, service and operations. According to the company, growth agents are aimed at customer acquisition, onboarding and share-of-wallet expansion.

Service agents are intended to improve response times and personalisation, while operations agents are designed for compliance, regulatory reporting, and mid- and back-office tasks.

The company plans further work on AI Studio, including updates to no-code tools for personal and enterprise AI agents, as well as centralised AI governance, integrations, AI modality management, security and enterprise-grade observability.

The investment will also cover AI activation programmes for customers and partners, including training, AI accelerator workshops and sector-specific guidance.

The company added that it is expanding its global channel delivery capabilities to support implementation partners working with financial institutions on AI deployment.

The investment is tied to its Unlimited Enterprise vision, under which people and AI agents operate on one platform without traditional limits related to users, agents, workflows, applications or scale.

Creatio recently launched the Bank.AI hub, a dedicated site for financial services executives focused on AI.

Creatio CEO Katherine Kostereva said: "The next generation of banking will be built around people and AI agents working together across customer and operational workflows.

"Our $300 million investment in Creatio Bank.AI will accelerate this transition, giving financial institutions the technology, industry expertise, and partner ecosystem to adopt AI faster and at enterprise scale."
