Michael Saylor's Strategy restarts buying BTC

Michael Saylor's Strategy (NASDAQ:MSTR) resumed buying Bitcoin (BTC) last week, adding 950 coins for about $75.7 million in its first purchase since late August.
According to a company filing on Sept. 21, its total holdings is now 846,000 bitcoin.

The purchase lifts Strategy's holdings to 846,000 bitcoin, acquired at a total cost of roughly $63.8 billion. That is about 4% of bitcoin's 21 million supply cap.
The company announced in the filing that during the period between Sept. 14 and Sept. 20, Strategy did not sell any shares under its at-the-market offering program.

Strategy's Bitcoin stack nears June peak
The purchase follows a summer of sales. Strategy held 847,363 bitcoin on June 22, its largest reported stack, then sold 3,588 bitcoin for $216 million in late June and early July.
The 846,000 total is about 1,400 coins below the June peak.
The bitcoin purchase came alongside other outlays. Strategy spent about $174 million repurchasing 1.77 million shares of its STRC preferred stock and paid $57.4 million from its USD reserve for preferred dividends and note interest, the filing showed.
Strategy shares were up 8.8%, at $167.47 as of 11:09 a.m. EDT Monday, at the time of writing.
