C3 Metals CEO on major new copper target at Khaleesi and Q4 drilling plans

C3 Metals CEO on major new copper target at Khaleesi and Q4 drilling plans

C3 Metals Inc (TSX-V:CCCM, OTC:CUAUF) CEO Dan Symons tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion that new gravity and magnetic surveys at the Khaleesi copper project in Peru have identified a major anomaly around two kilometres northeast of the main drill zone.

The company has expanded the survey area by more than 65% to 1,500 hectares and plans to drill-test the new target in Q4.

Symons said the main Khaleesi mineralised zone extends to 500 metres depth and remains open, while glacial cover means geophysics is key to identifying concealed copper-bearing magnetite skarns.A 3D IP survey is also due to start at the end of September, targeting potential porphyry or intrusive sources at depth.

In Jamaica, assays from the Superblock gold project and a Freeport-McMoRan-funded deep drilling programme at Bellas Gate are expected in Q4.

Symons said the company expects significant news flow across its three projects into 2027.

The known mineralized zone of the main Clacey area, which now measures from near surface down to 500 meters vertical depth is over 500 meters in east-west direction and remains open to the north, uh, east and west.

Hello, you're watching Proactive. I'm joined by C3 Metals CEO, Dan Simmons. Dan, very good to speak with you. New surveys have identified several large magnetic and gravity anomalies. What do they tell you about the potential scale of Clacey?

00:54 Dan Simmons

Yeah, so when we started at Clacey, this is a greenfield project. Uh we went on underwent uh a permanent application called a DIA, which is a smaller footprint and now we're modifying that DA to expand it to another area. So, we've already been drilling at Clacey for just under a year. Uh we have about 15,000 meters into it and what these new sur- surveys are showing us is because the project's covered by a thin layer of glacial till cover that varies in 5 to 50 meters. A lot of the project area is blind from surface. And the good news is is these gravity and magnetic surveys where we have coincident magnetic and gravity highs, they are working well and lining up with existing drill data to pick out those magnetite scarns which are hosting copper mineralization. And what we're really excited about is this survey over a much larger area now that generally corresponds where we're going where we're in the process of modifying and expanding our drill permitted area, is uh showing us multiple new anomalies um and the most exciting is probably one that was only partially covered with this survey. It's about 2 kilometers to the northeast and it looks like it's the similar size or potentially larger than the main area that we've been drilling uh to date.

02:44 Stephen

Uh you you've expanded the survey area by more than 65% done. What are you hoping the additional 600 hectares will reveal?

03:00 Dan Simmons

Yeah, so when we when we planned the original survey footprint, it was for 900 hectares and that was over the existing area we're actively drilling and then expanding to the northeast, uh south and southwest. And what the survey has shown us as we were going to the northeast, the largest and most intense anomaly uh was actually cut off at the end of that 900 hectares. So with this next 600 hectares or about 600 uh or 65% expansion, what we hope to do is capture the full extent of that feature. We did send a couple of our geologists out into the field to do some surface mapping. Again, a lot of glacial till cover, but we did find about 200 m by 150 m of outcropping magnetite scarn. So that's we know it's there geologically as well. Um but then the what the anomalies are showing us is it's it's much larger beneath that glacial till cover. So, we want to understand the full extent of it so we can uh get ready to plan to drill test this here in the fourth quarter.

04:13 Stephen

I mean, yes, as you said, you're continuing to drill the known mineralized zone, those new targets potentially being tested in the fourth quarter. So, so what should investors be watching for between now and then?

04:29 Dan Simmons

Yeah, I think at the Clacey project here in Peru, we should be watching for we're going to continue to drill expand upon the known mineralized zone of the main main Clacey area, which now measures from near surface down to 500 meters vertical depth is over 500 meters in east-west direction and remains open to the north, uh east and west. So we're continuing to step out and expand upon that mineralization. I think investors should watch for the results for the the uh continued magnetic and gravity survey over this next 600 hectares to show the extent of that sizable anomaly that we're finding at two kilometers to to the northeast. Um investors should watch for results of a 3D IP survey that we're uh is going to be starting to run here at the end of September because that will show us um the chargeability and conductivity data down to uh about a kilometer. And that that's really a tool, you know, we're using gravity and magnetics to pick out these magnetite scarns, but the 3D IP should uh be the best tool to pick out potential porphyry or causative intrusive. So what's causing this massive hydrothermal system. Um and then the other things investors should watch for is we're drilling right now at our super block project in Jamaica, which is an epithermal gold project. We expect to have assays out in the fourth quarter on that as well. And we're kicking off in the fourth quarter a deep drill program on our Bellas Gate project in Jamaica where Freeport Mcmoran is uh funding the earn on that project. So, uh those are Freeport dollars going into that project that we're operating and we're targeting beneath known mineralization uh deeper tests into trying to get into porphyry centers in Jamaica. So lots of news flow coming between the fourth quarter and and first quarter of 27.

06:49 Stephen

Well, Dan, I hope you'll continue to keep us updated with your progress. Thanks for your time today.

06:55 Dan Simmons

Thanks, Stephen.
