S&P 500 wavers after best one-day rally in six weeks: AlphaCheck

Good morning. Stocks were mixed on Friday as the S&P 500 (^GSPC) wavered after its best single-day performance in six weeks.
Oil prices were steady along with bond yields after this week's Federal Reserve decision to raise interest rates for the first time since 2023.
The 10-year Treasury (^TNX) yield hovered near 4.98%. Brent crude futures (BZ=F) for November delivery traded near $104 per barrel while West Texas Intermediate (CL=F) edged up to $103.

Tech stocks (XLK) were set to end the week relatively flat with Nvidia (NVDA) shares up less than 1% as concerns over AI risks spooked the sector earlier in the week.
For the week, Alphabet (GOOG) and Meta (META) were on pace to close with weekly wins.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) gained more than 4% to hold above $79,000 while gold (GC=F) held near $4,400.
