Professional services group Xeinadin has named board director John Dwyer as the company's new chairman, with the appointment taking effect immediately.
Dwyer succeeds Alastair Marsh, who is stepping down after six years on the company's board.
Marsh became Xeinadin's independent non-executive chairman in 2021.
During his tenure he oversaw a period of "significant growth and transformation", the company said. A significant development was Xeinadin's sale of a minority stake to Exponent in 2022.
Marsh said: "Over the past six years, Xeinadin has undergone significant growth and development, scaling the business substantially and establishing it as a Top 15 accountancy firm in the UK.
"It has been an absolute privilege to work alongside Derry Crowley and the wider Xeinadin Executive Team during what has been an incredibly successful and transformational period for the business."
Dwyer joined Xeinadin's board in 2022. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland.
He previously headed the UK and Global Deals business at PricewaterhouseCoopers and was also a member of Exponent's investment team.
Xeinadin CEO Derry Crowley said: "I would like to thank Alastair for his great support and guidance over the years. His experience has been invaluable as he has helped guide our business through significant growth and transformation, and I wish him every success for the future.
"I am also delighted to welcome John Dwyer as Xeinadin's new chairman. His knowledge of the industry and the Xeinadin business mean he is ideally placed to continue guiding the business on its ambitious journey of growth."
In July, Xeinadin expanded its presence in Dublin, Ireland, by acquiring Hayden Brown.
"Xeinadin appoints John Dwyer as new chairman" was originally created and published by International Accounting Bulletin, a GlobalData owned brand.
