On the Mad Money episode aired on September 11, Jim Cramer highlighted Salesforce, Inc. (NYSE:CRM) following positive momentum surrounding the company's enterprise software platform and its artificial intelligence initiative. He commented:

On Tuesday, we're going to interview Salesforce's Marc Benioff, who's now offering a cutting-edge AI platform called Agentforce. You know, he introduced this on our show two years ago. We own the stock for the Charitable Trust. It's been very strong of late, including today. I think people are finally recognizing that a Salesforce product can interrogate the data and run it through all sorts of AI to figure out the best way to get sales. I'm fascinated by how good this program is and I've spent a lot of time on it.

Agentforce Expansion and Solid Fiscal Results

Salesforce, Inc. (NYSE:CRM) reported second-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of $11.35 billion, delivering strong top-line growth (nearly 11% year-over-year), while non-GAAP diluted earnings per share reached $5.90, outperforming the estimates by $2.63. Current remaining performance obligation rose 14% year-over-year and in constant currency to $33.5 billion. Total remaining performance obligation reached $66.3 billion, representing an 11% increase year-over-year.

Amid accelerating adoption of Agentforce and Data 360, Salesforce raised its full-year fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to between $46.1 billion and $46.4 billion. This represents 11% to 12% growth year-over-year.

Enterprise IT Budget Headwinds and AI Execution Risks

Despite raised full-year guidance, Salesforce, Inc. (NYSE:CRM) operates in an enterprise software market where corporate IT budgets face strict ROI inspection. The shift can be seen in professional services revenue, which fell 4% year-over-year to $525 million as clients curb discretionary consulting spend. Moreover, intense competition from Microsoft, ServiceNow, and Oracle, combined with a structural industry shift away from traditional per-user seat expansion, presents ongoing adoption hurdles.

Smart Money Footprint and Short Interest Dynamics

According to Insider Monkey's data, 99 hedge funds had a stake in Salesforce, Inc. (NYSE:CRM) in the second quarter, compared to 101 in the prior quarter. Among those hedge funds, Harris Associates held the most prominent position with 16.15 million shares. Short percent of float sits at 4.10%. The short interest shows moderate skepticism among short sellers.

Cramer's bullish stance aligns with Salesforce, Inc.'s (NYSE:CRM) expanding AI platform and strong cash flow generation. While broader enterprise budget cautiousness remains a factor to watch, the commercial scaling of Agentforce and strong cash flow generation support the stock's underlying trajectory.
