Pave Finance, a New York-based, artificial-intelligence backed trading and portfolio management platform for financial advisors, has raised more than $15 million in an oversubscribed Series A funding round at a $100 million valuation, the firm announced.

The round included investment from advisory firms, former executive officers and board members of financial services firms and company insiders and will support the expansion of Pave's market-facing and engineering teams. It follows a $14 million seed financing round for the firm in 2025, which was founded in 2021 by a McKinsey consultant seeking to broaden access to quality investment offerings.

Pave proposes to offer advisors time savings by reducing the operational burden and costs of portfolio construction, management and trading through personalized client strategies. The firm tracks more than 50,000 publicly traded securities and integrates with custodians, including Schwab, Fidelity and BNY Pershing, among other providers, for onboarding.

"As advisory businesses grow, firms must now find efficient ways to manage a larger volume of clients who are simultaneously demanding greater personalization in their portfolios," CEO Christopher Ainsworth said in a statement.

Pave was founded by Pascal Cevaer-Corey, a former McKinsey consultant who wanted to create an affordable investment and advisory option of the same quality as those available to people with "significant sums of money." He was joined by Peter Corey, a former hedge fund manager, and Stephen Evans, a quantitative portfolio manager, and the firm currently represents $130 billion in assets across more than 300,000 accounts.

Ainsworth took the CEO role in December 2022 after being a managing director in Deutsche Bank's private wealth division.

The platform offers both discretionary and non-discretionary options for advisors, with its revenue coming from a combination of licensing, trading, and investment advisory fees.
