Saffery expands client development team with two new appointments

UK-based accountancy practice Saffery has made two new additions to its client development team as part of its efforts to support growth across the company's national offices.
Emma Lane has joined as head of client development, South, while Tom Williams has been named client development manager, North.
The pair will work with David Melloy, who was appointed as head of client development in April this year.
Lane is based in Bournemouth and brings more than 20 years of experience in banking, fintech, financial services and professional services.
She has held senior roles at Moneycorp, Allica Bank, AIB, Lloyds Bank and Barclays.
Williams will be based at Saffery's Leeds office and cover the northern regions. He has more than ten years of commercial and business development experience across professional services and client-focused industries.
Most recently, he worked at national law firm Freeths, where he oversaw business development across several service lines and sectors.
Saffery Marketing and Business Development director Richard Crook said: "Both Emma and Tom bring a wealth of experience in client development, relationship building and commercial growth.
"Working closely with David, our new client development team will strengthen our ability to deepen client relationships, identify new opportunities and support the firm's continued growth across our key markets."
Saffery is a member of Nexia, a global network of independent accounting and consulting businesses.
The company recently promoted Paul Binks to partner. It also made three partner appointments in April: Jake Stanmore in London, Harry Kendall in Edinburgh and Peter Boyle in Dublin.
