The first edition of the Roundtable 100 went live this week, and the world's largest company, Nvidia, is nowhere near the top of the ranking list.

The $5.3 trillion tech giant could only find a spot No. 76, and that is the biggest story this week.

World's largest company nowhere near top rank

Led by founder and CEO Jensen Huang, Nvidia is a technology company best known for its chips. It became the world's first company to surpass a historic $5 trillion market valuation in October 2025, thanks to the demand for its AI-focused products.

But it failed to find a top spot in the Roundtable 100 ranking.

Nvidia isn't the only one among the tech giants that missed the top spots in the Roundtable 100.

Apple sits at No. 85, Taiwan Semiconductor at No. 80, Broadcom at No. 83, and Elon Musk's Tesla at No. 96.

The rankings are based on the performance of these companies, as evaluated by the Roundtable 100 analysts.

Published with TheStreet, The Roundtable 100 ranks the top 100 publicly traded technology growth assets. Each is scored from 0 to 100 by the analysts of the Blue Ribbon Committee on five variables, Team, Safety, Value, Innovation, and Market Dominance, with the average forming the asset's Power Ranking. The list refreshes every Friday after the U.S. market close.

The Blue Ribbon Committee analysts rank a company on the basis of how much room it still has to grow.

A $2 billion company can grow 100 times. But companies like Nvidia and Apple have already grown and are fully realized.

The committee grounded the list in real value: the actual 6-month performance of all 100 stocks, ranked in order.

Based on this metric, Credo at No. 7 and Datadog at No. 10 beat the likes of Nvidia by wide margins.

The committee was most impressed with the cybersecurity sector, with five companies finding spots in the top 20: Varonis at No. 3, Datadog at No. 10, CrowdStrike at No. 13, Palo Alto Networks at No. 16, and Fortinet at No. 18.

Trending on TheStreet Roundtable:

Every major crypto beats Bitcoin

The ranking doesn't fail to surprise when it comes to cryptocurrencies either. Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency with a market cap of $1.6 trillion, sits at No. 94.

Every major crypto network ranked in the Roundtable 100 is far ahead of Bitcoin.

NEAR is the highest-ranked digital asset in the index at No. 15, followed by Curve at No. 17, Hyperliquid at No. 19, Ondo at No. 24, Solana at No. 56, Polygon at No. 65, Ethereum at No. 71, and Algorand at No. 72.

Metals and crude oil rank lowest

The committee put copper, gold, silver, and crude oil at the last four spots, Nos. 97 through 100.

Though an index of the companies building the future can't ignore the raw materials they are built on, these commodities score exactly as a bar of gold should on growth and innovation, the variables this ranking weighs heaviest, the committee argues.

AI drugmaker tops inaugural Roundtable 100

Absci, a $1.55 billion company using generative AI to develop antibody drugs, opens at No. 1 in the inaugural Roundtable 100 with a Power Ranking of 84.

At No. 2 is Schrödinger, a company that uses physics-based software to simulate molecules for drug discovery.

The next on the list are the data-security firm Varonis at No. 3, low-power chip designer Ambiq at No. 4, and fintech companies Strive at No. 5 and Pagaya at No. 6. Neither of these companies is worth more than around $5 billion.
