Singapore-based FingerMotion (FNGR) ripped higher on Aug. 28 after the micro-cap company announced a strategic artificial intelligence (AI) data center pivot. In an 8-K filing, the Nasdaq-listed firm detailed its shift to building behind-the-meter, natural-gas-powered modular AI data centers in North America with partner BlueFlare Energy Solutions.

Despite its meteoric rally, FingerMotion stock remains down more than 80% versus the start of this year.

Under newly appointed CEO Jolie Kahn, FingerMotion is repositioning itself to address the severe bottleneck in AI power delivery.

The strategy prioritizes low-cost, off-grid power to deliver immediate, scalable compute capacity to enterprise customers.

Complementing this framework is FNGR's recently acquired 9.9% stake in Lyken AI Computing, whose partner holds a non-binding memorandum of understanding for a 128-node NVIDIA B300 compute cluster.

FingerMotion shares soared as investors bet that this nimble, off-grid infrastructure approach could unlock meaningful recurring revenue faster than traditional hyperscale developments.
