Prescient launches $7 million share purchase plan

Prescient Therapeutics Ltd (ASX:PTX) has launched a share purchase plan seeking to raise up to $7 million to support further development of its first-in-class cancer treatment, PTX-100.

Funds will allow Prescient to progress the targeted therapy beyond a Dose Optimisation Committee review planned for the second half of calendar 2026.

The review represents an important development milestone ahead of subsequent committee assessments and, subject to clinical results, further progression of the program towards regulatory approval and broader patient access.

St George advances Araxá permitting

St George Mining Ltd (ASX:SGQ, FRA:S0G, OTC:SGQMF) has formally commenced the environmental licensing process for its 100%-owned Araxá Project in Minas Gera is, Brazil.

The company has lodged its Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Impact Report with the State Environmental Foundation as part of its application for a Preliminary Licence, the first of three stages in the project's licensing process.

St George said Araxá benefits from high-grade mineralisation beginning at surface, established regional infrastructure and strong community support.

The company expects the high-grade nature of the deposit to allow for a comparatively small mining footprint, while the mineralisation is free-digging and would not require blasting.

International Graphite keeps Collie plant on schedule

International Graphite Ltd (ASX:IG6, FRA:H99, OTC:IGRPF) says Australia's first graphite micronising plant remains on schedule, with construction of the production building and installation of the first milling equipment targeted for completion during the second quarter of 2027.

Vendor testing of additional milling equipment has been completed, with orders being prepared for delivery before the end of the same quarter.

Equipment selections have been refined following market research, product development work at International Graphite's Collie Research and Development Centre and discussions with customers and other market participants.

The expanded configuration is expected to allow the plant to manufacture a broader range of products than originally envisaged in the front-end engineering and design study, including higher-value superfine graphite materials.
